This works great if you're building an email list, selling products (physical or digital), or if you're offer services like coaching.
Firstly, I'll give you an overview of the funnel and tell you
what type of
content works best for each stage.
The 3 stages of a profitable blog funnel are:
Problem aware
Solution aware
Consideration stage
1. Problem aware; when someone knows there's a prob, at this stage they are looking for more info about it, and seeking solutions.
This is the largest segment of any market.
Think newbies, novices and beginners.
2. Solution aware; when someone wants to UNDERSTAND
solutions,
they're not ready to buy anything yet, they are educating
themselves.
3. Consideration stage; they know what the solution is, comparing offers and choosing the right option for their needs.
HOWEVER! some people will choose to do nothing, they will
choose
to carry on struggling and won't take action, in fact most people
will do that.
Here's the right content to create for each stage:
1. The first piece of content should be for 'problem aware'
people,
start with keyword research, find out what people are looking
for,
think about making "how to" articles, and focus on one problem.
Give them an overview of things, and let them know their not alone, and help them to understand the problem better.
EXAMPLE: 'how to make a website'
2. The second piece of content 'solution aware' people, this is where you help them understand how the solution works, we're educating them and helping them to become better informed.
And we're showing them what their options are.
EXAMPLE: 'what is shared hosting'
3. The final piece of content is for the 'consideration stage', this is where you tell them why your offer is the best one, but it can't be a sales pitch.
You have to give them value, think "review articles" and "buyer guides".
EXAMPLE: 'what are the best hosts for Wordpress'.
Can you see the journey? when we structure content like this, the funnel becomes insanely profitable.
